While I as also against SOPA, I don't see how an American law could have such a wide international effect. I mean, yes I know the US has a ton of people and money and probably generates a majority of content on sites like PB, tumblr and such...but I though PB was Canadian based... so if SOPA is passed and it becomes illegal for anyone in the states to have an online presence (more or less) why wouldn't PB just loose half of its user base an be able to keep operating in other countries?

didn't they just release a video saying they didn't know of any plans to go to carbon because they would want to keep all of their production in the US? i mean it looks like a sick bike, and currently ride a carbon fully so I'm very interested in this one... but it seems like a big PR mix up.

the only reason this wouldn't earn the title VOD is because it doesn't cater to the 13 year old mentality PB attracts. Home-team I'd be really proud of this as a work, it was so much more of a wow factor then 90% of VODs, its just a more sincere personal wow factor that is under appreciate on PB. On Vimeo this would have received a completely different response in comments, because they have a community that isn't afraid of embracing new ideas.

I feel like you are the kind of person who would watch a Wong Kar-Wai film and complain about the lack of sex and explosions, then conclude it was bad because ultimately english. (even if that isn't your first language) As far as bike films are concerned this an entirely separate genre from Kranked and NWD, and I feel sorry that you aren't able to appreciate the beauty of it.
